Biography

Lisa is a DPhil candidate in Socio-Legal Studies, funded by the University of Oxford's Faculty of Law. Under the supervision of Professor Bettina Lange, she is conducting legal and empirical research on data access and use rights of EU institutions and bodies. In addition, Lisa is a Guest Lecturer in European and German Law at University College London, a Tutor in Competition Law at the University of Oxford, and a Research Assistant to competition law Professor Ariel Ezrachi.

Lisa holds a law degree with honors from Humboldt University of Berlin and studied law and computer science at University College Dublin through the Erasmus program. She was a Research Assistant for the Weizenbaum Institute and PricewaterhouseCoopers and a Tutor of European Law at Birkbeck, University of London, and Civil Law at Humboldt University. She also supervised international academic exchange programs between Berlin, Prague, and Budapest.

Lisa is a co-author of a German journal article on data altruism and several policy papers on European and German Data Strategy.
